The BMA150 is a triaxial, low-g acceleration sensor IC with digital output for consumer market applications. The BMA150 allows measurements of acceleration in perpendicular axes as well as absolute temperature measurement. Applications are (1)HDD protection; (2)Menu scrolling, tap sensing function; (3)Gaming; (4)Pedometer/step-counting; (5)Drop detection for warranty logging; (6)Display profile switching; (7)Advanced system power management for mobile applications; (8)Shock detection.
