Product Summary

The BMA222E is a trixial, low-g acceleration sensor with digital output for consumer applications. The BMA222E allows measurents of acceleration in three perpendicular axes. An evalution circuitry (ASIC) of the BMA222E converts the output of a micromechanical acceleration-sensing structure (MENS) that works according to the differential capacitance principle. The applications of the BMA222E include Display profile switching, Menu scrolling, tap/double tap sensing, Gaming, Pedometer/step counting Free-fall detection E-compass tilt compensation, Drop detection for warranty logging, Advanced system power management for mobile applications.
