The TC77-3.3M is a serially accessible digital temperature sensor particularly suited for low cost and small formfactor applications. Temperature data of the TC77-3.3M is converted from the internal thermal sensing element and made available at anytime as a 13-bit twos compliment digital word. Communication with the TC77-3.3M is accomplished via a SPI and MICROWIRE compatible interface. Applications are (1)Thermal Protection for Hard Disk Drives and Other PC Peripherals; (2)PC Card Devices for Notebook Computers; (3)Low Cost Thermostat Controls; (4)Industrial Control; (5)Office Equipment; (6)Cellular Phones; (7)Thermistor Replacement.
