The MMA7455LR1 is a Digital Output (I2C/SPI) , low power, low profile apacitive micromachined accelerometer featuring signal conditioning, a low pass filter, temperature compensation, self test, configurable to detect 0g hrough interrupt pins (INT1 or INT2), and pulse (click) detect for quick motion detection. The MMA7455LR1 includes a Standby Mode that makes it ideal for handheld battery powered electronics. Applications of the MMA7455LR1 include:Cell Phone/PMP/PDA: Image Stability, Text Scroll, Motion Dialing, E-Compass, Tap to Mute, HDD: Freefall Detection, Laptop PC: Freefall Detection, Anti-Thef, Navigation and Dead Reckoning: Position Detection, Pedometer, E-Compass Tilt Compensation and 3D Gaming: Tilt and Motion Sensing, Event Recorder.
