Product Summary

The MBI6654 is a step-down constant-current high-brightness LED driver provides a cost-effective design solution for interior/exterior illumination applications. The MBI6654 is designed to deliver constant current to light up high power LED with minimum only 4 external components. With hysteretic PFM control scheme, MBI6654 eliminates external compensation design and make the design simple. The output current of MBI6654 can be programmed by an external resistor and dimmed via pulse width modulation (PWM)through DIMD pin. In addition, a novel power switching dimming design is introduced in the device. User can achieve 4-step analog dimming function simply by altering input voltage of the driver without additional dimming signal required. The MBI6654 applications are: (1)Signage and Decorative LED Lighting; (2)High Power LED Lighting; (3)Constant Current Source.
