Product Summary

The 8810 is a fiber-optic interfacility link. It represent a comprehensive and simplified approach to satellite earth station signal management and control. Essentially, the 8810 is designed to bring microwave technology into the 21st Century by converting microwave signals into continuously variable amplitude-modulated optical signals. Applications are (1)C-, extended C-, X-, and Ku-band earth stations; (2)IF and L-band IFLs; (3)Rain-fade site diversity.
